The Attuned Engineer provides a translation tool and learning platform that helps software engineers communicate technical work in business-friendly language. The Service includes:

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep this information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The free tier includes limited translations per day and access to basic features. No payment is required for the free tier.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Team) are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

4.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance of the new prices.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Submit malicious code or attempt to compromise security

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-submitted content), is owned by The Attuned Engineer and protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of text you submit for translation. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the Service.

6.3 Feedback

Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.

7. AI-Generated Content

Translations and suggestions provided by the Service are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or appropriate for any specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all translations before use.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE ATTUNED ENGINEER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Attuned Engineer and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
